Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav may have failed to play a match-winning innings against England in the third T20 International, but his innings will be cherished by Indian cricket fans for a long time. Yadav scored a blistering century in the final match of the series and became just the fifth Indian batsman to score a century in the shortest format of the game. He scored 117 runs in just 55 balls but India Finally had to concede defeat by 17 runs.

Coming back into the match, batting first, the hosts posted a mammoth total of 215/7 in 20 overs.
During the run chase, Team India suffered an initial setback by losing three wickets at a fast pace. Yadav performed brilliantly throughout the innings and hit 14 fours with 6 sixes, but eventually, he was dismissed in the last over.
Yadav’s incredible batting proved to be in vain as India could only reach 198/9 in 20 overs. The defeat did not change the outcome of the series as Rohit Sharma’s team had already won the first two matches.
