Simple One Electric Scooter Launched In India Priced At Rs 1.45 Lakh: Check Range, Features

The Simple One electric scooter has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), going up to Rs 1.58 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Brazen X variant. After a long wait, a new electric scooter has been launched in the country. Significantly, the electric two-wheeler was announced some time back but now it has been commercially introduced in the market. EV manufacturers have utilized the time to develop EVs in line with the updated standards of the automotive industry. Apart from this, the company will start the deliveries of the EV immediately.

Talking about the design, the Simple One electric scooter comes with a sleek design focusing on the beauty of the apron. In addition, the front end is highlighted by the presence of LED headlamps with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and indicators. Adding to this, the EV also gets a unique design for its taillamp setting part. All this comes in multiple color themes unveiled by the brand, including Brazen Black, Namma Red, Azure Blue, and Grace White. It also offers new colors like Brazen X and Lite X.

The Simple One electric scooter comes loaded with features like digital display with connectivity features like Bluetooth, LED lighting, Android OS, cloud connectivity, regenerative braking, and more. Furthermore, the electric scooter will offer multiple riding modes, such as Eco, Dash, Ride and Sonic. It must be mentioned that the EV also offers 30 liters of storage space.


Talking about the specs, the Simple One electric scooter gets a 5 kWh Li-ion dual-battery pack that offers a range of 212 km. It is powered by a 5 kW motor, which produces 8.5 kW of power and 72 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate the EV from 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. The 750W home charger can charge the battery from 0-80% in 5 hours and 54 minutes. Considering these specs, the scooter will compete with models like the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, Vida V1, and the TVS iQube.
