An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Ravangla in Sikkim early on Wednesday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported.
According to the NCS, the tremors were at a depth of five kilometers and occurred at around 3:01 am, 12 kilometers north of Ravangla.
NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of magnitude: 3.7, 05-01-2022, 03:01:59 IST, Latitude: 27.42 & Long: 88.39, Depth: 5 km, Location: 12 km north of Ravangla, Sikkim. “
