As the elections are approaching, the opposition of Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu has started. Congress (AICC) National Coordinator and Punjab Spokesperson Pritpal Singh Baliwal has sent his resignation to Sonia.

He said that he cannot defend the “nonsense” and anti-party, anti-government remarks happening in Punjab. He also praised Captain Amarinder Singh and Sunil Jakhar. Baliwal held the charge of Haryana and Himachal Kisan Congress and was also a senior media panelist of Punjab Congress.

Questions were also raised on Sidhu’s Pakistan relations.

Baliwal wrote in his resignation letter to Sonia that for 15 years he has been working to strengthen the Congress. Now you have handed Punjab into wrong hands. As a spokesperson, he finds it very difficult to defend his anti-party and anti-government comments. It also includes Navjot Sidhu’s relations with Pakistan.

Congress was strong under the leadership of Captain-Jakhar

Balliawal said that under the leadership of Captain Amarinder Singh and Sunil Jakhar, the Congress was in a strong position to form the government in Punjab in 2022, but you chose Navjot Sidhu. The government under the leadership of CM Charanjit Channi is doing a great job. But the image of the party is getting tarnished by Sidhu’s daily tweets.
