Navjot Sidhu has raised 13 issues by writing a letter to Sonia Gandhi.

Navjot Sidhu’s rebellious attitude against the government continues after he withdrew his resignation from the post of Punjab Congress chief. Now Sidhu has attacked CM Charanjit Channi on the pretext of writing a letter to Sonia Gandhi. He said that the Congress high command took a progressive decision by making the Chief Minister of Scheduled Castes. Despite this, the Scheduled Castes did not get equal representation in the government. This thing is important because the Congress is going to go to the next election on the issue of making a Scheduled Caste CM. In such a situation, this statement of Sidhu can prove to be a setback for the Congress itself.

At the same time, after a direct confrontation, now Navjot Sidhu has come out with a new formula to put pressure on the Punjab government. Sidhu has raised 13 issues by writing a letter to Sonia Gandhi. In which an appeal has been made to Sonia to give instructions to the Punjab government that these issues should be resolved. After the removal of Captain Amarinder Singh from the post of CM in Punjab in some way or the other, Sidhu is trying to become a super CM by putting pressure on the government. For this reason, now he has tried to put pressure on CM Charanjit Singh Channi through the high command.

Till now Sidhu was taking direct competition with his own government, but after the displeasure of the high command, Sidhu changed his stand. Sidhu has also made it clear to the national leadership of the Congress in gestures that if action is not taken on the issues raised by him, then there may be trouble for the Congress in the next elections. Apart from this, Sidhu has also claimed victory in many seats due to his campaign in the last assembly elections. Sidhu said he had campaigned in 55 assembly constituencies in 2017, out of which the Congress won 53.

Justice should be found in sacrilege and bullet case, big drug smugglers arrested Navjot Sidhu has first raised the demand for justice in the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and the bullets related to him. Apart from this, raising the issue of drugs, he said that the drug smugglers who are named in the report of the Special Task Force should be arrested immediately.

Punjab government should take a stand like SYL to announce non-implementation of controversial agricultural reform laws, Sidhu said that Punjab government should immediately announce non-implementation of disputed agricultural reform laws in Punjab and repeal them completely. Sidhu said that for this a decision like Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal is needed. Let us inform that this decision was taken by Captain Amarinder Singh while being the Chief Minister, in which he had canceled the SYL agreement by making a law.

Government should give cheap electricity or 300 units free to domestic consumers. Raising the issue of electricity, Sidhu said that domestic consumers should get cheap electricity 24 hours a day. The government cuts electricity rates only for industrial and commercial use and provides free electricity for agriculture. Therefore, electricity subsidy should be fixed for domestic consumers also. Whether we have to reduce electricity to ₹ 3 per unit or to give 300 units of free electricity to all. Sidhu also demanded issuance of white paper on power purchase agreements. He said that wrong power agreements should be canceled immediately.

Backward castes did not get proper representation in the cabinet, Sidhu directly attacked CM Charanjit Channi on the issue of welfare of scheduled and backward castes. Sidhu said that there should have been at least one Majbi Sikh in the cabinet, one representative of Scheduled Castes from Doabe and at least two representatives from the backward caste brotherhood. Apart from this, a special package of 25 crores should be given for the development of reserve assembly constituencies. At the same time, we should also fulfill promises like 5 marla plot for scheduled caste families, amount of pucca roof for every scheduled caste family and stipend etc.

Sarkar to fill vacant government posts Sidhu said that government posts lying vacant in Punjab should be filled regularly. More than 20 organizations are currently protesting across the state. We should sympathetically accept their demands. I am sending every application and demand letter received by the State Congress to the concerned ministry. The government should keep the avenues open for discussions in this regard, keeping in view the financial resources. Sidhu said that the Punjab government should make a single window system for industry and business.

Government should establish a monopoly on alcohol Like Tamil Nadu, the liquor trade in Punjab should be brought under a corporation run by the government and a monopoly should be established over it. The Punjab government itself should be the owner of distilleries and liquor contracts. Due to which, along with thousands of jobs, Punjab will earn at least more than 20, 000 crores annually.

Do not get trapped in the free sand trap, the government formed the corporation, Sidhu raised the issue regarding sand that Punjab can earn two thousand crores annually. But earlier the Akali government has been earning 40 crores and we have got only a few hundred crores out of it. We should not get trapped in the free sand trap and provide sand directly to the consumer at a reasonable rate. For this an online portal should be created. The government should form a sand mining corporation. Sidhu’s statement assumes significance because Chief Minister Charanjit Channi had said that people in Punjab would be allowed to extract sand from their fields. However, Siddu does not seem to agree with this.

Praised Transport Minister Raja Vading Sidhu praised the new Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Vading for the movement in Punjab. Sidhu said that 13,000 buses are plying illegally or without permits on the roads of Punjab. They should be removed and permits should be issued to the youth of Punjab. Apart from this, the luxury buses of PRTC should stand with the Transport Minister who runs the Badal buses. These words of Sidhu are indicating that he is not getting enough cooperation or support from the government regarding the action of the new transport minister.

Sidhu also raised the issue of cable mafia and said that Punjab Entertainment and Entertainment Tax Bill 2017 should be implemented to increase the income of the state, open the way for thousands of jobs and eliminate the cable mafia run by the Badals. .
