Sidharth Malhotra And Disha Patani Starrer ‘Yoddha’ has been postponed once again. The action entertainer was supposed to hit the screens in September this year but has been delayed by a few months. For action, working with Siddharth again Karan JoharAfter the success of Sher Shah. Yoddha, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, is set against the backdrop of an airport hi-jack. The film was scheduled to release on 15th September 2023, however, it has got a new release date and will now hit the big screens on 15th December.
Yoddha, which also stars Raashi Khanna, is backed by Karan Johar’s production house. Dharma Productions officially announced the new release date of Yoddha on their Instagram handle. “Refuelled and refueled and ready to fly high! #Yoddha – the first action film of the franchise directed by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha – out on December 15, 2023 Will release in theatres. The film also stars Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna in lead roles.”
Talking about the film, Siddharth had earlier said in a statement, “As an actor, you would like to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. It really unveiled a new version of me, for which I am very grateful. The love that I have received from the audience and fans is magical. I can’t wait to show them what Yoddha has in store for them.” Yoddha is a collaboration between Prime Video and Dharma Productions in association with Mentor Disciple Films. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
Apart from Yoddha, Siddharth will be seen in the next film Rohit ShettyIndian Police Force directed by is set to release on Amazon Prime this year. The series is said to be the web wing of Rohit’s ambitious detective universe. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video, marking the actors’ first web series. The OTT series also stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Both the titles are likely to release in 2023. Siddharth is also in talks for Rowdy Rathore 2, but the talks have failed due to various reasons.
