The body of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla was kept at Cooper Hospital on Thursday night after the postmortem and as per the latest reports, it will be taken to Brahmakumari Ashram in Juhu and later to the actor’s residence in Oshiwara. There will be a ‘Shanti Path’ at home and his last rites will be performed later at the Oshiwara crematorium.
While the postmortem was done on Thursday, the final report and official statement from Mumbai Police will be released on Friday, after which the actor’s body will be handed over to the family members.
Sidharth Shukla, who starred in several popular television shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak, passed away on 2 September due to a heart attack. According to a senior official, Siddharth was brought dead at Cooper Hospital.
After the untimely demise of actor Sidharth Shukla (40), social media on Thursday was flooded with condolence messages shared by friends and co-stars of the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner.
Siddharth did several television and reality shows and also starred in the popular 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which starred Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
Siddhartha is survived by his mother and two sisters.
Mumbai-born Shukla rose to fame with ‘Balika Vadhu’, Color TV’s game-changing social messaging show about child marriage, but established her credentials by winning ‘Bigg Boss 13’ (2019), which usually deals with women.
