“The situation in the BJP has escalated because there is no respect for the Constitution and democracy in the minds of the leaders,” he said.
Responding to Tamil Nadu BJP’s opposition to the Mekedatu project, Siddaramaiah said his government has submitted a detailed project report on the project to the central government.
“Since now the BJP is both at the Center and in the state, the state government should take permission from the Center and start the project immediately. There is no need to take permission from Tamil Nadu to implement the project,” he said.
