Shruti Sodhi Opens Up On Her Hindi Debut ‘Ab Dilli Dur Nahin’, Says, ‘The Character Has A Very Strong…’

New Delhi: Actress Shruti Sodhi, who has predominantly worked in Punjabi and Telugu films, is all set to make her Hindi debut with Ab Dilli Door Nahi as the female lead opposite actor Imran Zahid. Directed by Kamal Chandra, the story of a small-town boy’s aspiration to become an IAS officer, is slated to release on May 12. Director Mahesh Bhatt will be seen doing a cameo in this film.

Explaining why she chose this film to make her Hindi debut, “I was looking for a good script in Hindi to play a good role. The character has a very strong part, and that film in a certain way. As much as the male lead. So, for me it was very attractive because there was so much to do with the variety of scenes in the film and a great way to deliver a good performance and make your presence felt There was an opportunity.”
