The construction of ‘Srikashi Vishwanath Dham’ has been completed by 55%. It took about 27 months. Work is on to complete the remaining 45% by November. The structure of the temple is almost ready. Finishing work is going on. A new model of development is planned to be presented to the public by completing the construction of the corridor before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections to be held in March 2022.

At the same time, Baleshwar Stone, Makrana Marble, Kota Granite and Madonna Stone are also being used in the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, which will attract domestic and foreign tourists and devotees in the coming days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham on 8 March 2019. At that time about Rs 339 crore was spent on the corridor. The cost was estimated. However, later it was increased to about Rs 800 crore. Sunil Verma, Chief Executive Officer of Shrikashi Vishwanath Temple said that the temple complex is being built in 33,075 square feet. Experts believe that this model will be redeemed in the assembly elections 2022. Professor Kaushal Kishor Mishra, Dean, Faculty of Political Science, BHU, says that the 2022 assembly elections will be a political-cultural leadership election. A new type of political culture will be born in the coming elections. Because of this, both Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham and Ram Mandir are important from the point of view of elections. After completing this, the government will present the model in the election. It will also benefit.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very serious about PM Narendra Modi’s dream project Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham. He comes to Kashi every 15 days to inspect the work done in the temple so that there is no laxity in the work. Also give instructions. They also take action in case of negligence.
