Some of them include the renaming of Mangaluru International Airport after ‘Koti-Chennaiah’ and a development corporation for the Bilwa community, a long-pending demand.
“Apart from the Billava community, there was participation from other communities as well, who wore yellow shawls and flags, which symbolizes Sree Narayana Guru. The followers of Sree Narayana Guru are not only in Karnataka or Kerala, but all over the world. He was hurt by the humiliation of the visionary Guru. B Janardan Pujari led the main procession, as he has followed the values and teachings of Sree Narayana Guru in his political career. Now Nadige has laid the foundation stone and we will fight for other demands in the days to come. Said Padmaraja.
