Chandrapur: After the order of closure by Guardian Minister Vijay Wadettiwar, the district administration has sent a show cause notice to the operator of the fair-cum-amusement park running at Chanda Club ground here.

The place also lacks any kind of fire safety measures and there is no way to escape the fire, even as half a dozen fast food stalls are using LPG cylinders. Sanitization facility was not found in any of the rides or stalls.
Wadettiwar, taking cognizance of the Kovid violation, directed the collector to close the fair. Collector Ajay Gulhane claimed that the show cause notice has been served, the operator was asked why the fair should not be closed.
