Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL) chief Shivpal Yadav on Monday morning tweeted a chaupai from Ramcharitmanas, in which he described Lord Ram as the best teacher for family and nation building, amid speculations that he would join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Sources reveal that Yadav may soon visit Hanumangarhi and Ramlala in Ayodhya.
On the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, Shivpal Yadav tweeted, ‘Chaitra Navratri is a moment of faith as well as a moment to connect with the ideals of Lord Ram.

Earlier, Yadav had followed PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Twitter along with former deputy CM Dinesh Sharma.
While BJP has denied Yadav joining BJP, there is talk that the party can make him its own. Deputy Speaker of UP Legislative AssemblyLike Nitin Agarwal in the previous government.
A deputy speaker is usually elected from the opposition party and sits next to the leader of the opposition in the assembly. If that happens, Yadav may sit next to his nephew and Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav.
Yadav had recently contested from his traditional Jaswantnagar seat in Etawah district on the SP symbol. Last week, Yadav met Yogi at his official residence in Lucknow for about 20 minutes. Sources close to Yadav said that the PSPL chief may soon make a big announcement to leave the nephew’s alliance.
Yadav, who is clearly not happy with his nephew and the alliance with the SP, had said this was not the right time for him to speak. The PSPL chief called a meeting of the core committee of his party’s post holders in Lucknow on Thursday.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Yadav He said, ‘This is not the right time to say anything. I would also like to appeal to my party workers not to worry.
The PSPL chief had rubbished the rumors of a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “We discussed our party’s strategy in today’s meeting,” Yadav said.
Yadav had said on March 26 that despite being an SP MLA, he was not called for a review meeting of party MLAs in Lucknow. However, the SP later clarified that Yadav had its own organization and was an ally, and a meeting for the allies was scheduled later.
