Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty describes her mother as the ‘strongest’ after Sunanda Shetty’s surgery.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has shared a picture of her mother Sunanda Shetty from a hospital, which has got her fans and followers worried. Shilpa told in her caption that Sunanda had undergone surgery at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.
Sharing Sunanda’s photo with the doctor, Shilpa wrote, ‘It is not easy for any child to see their parents undergoing surgery. But, if there is anything that I want to emulate from my mother, it is her courage and her fighting spirit. The past few days have been a roller coaster. But, my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day! Thank you very much Dr. Rajeev Bhagwat for taking such good care of mom before, during and after the surgery. With a grateful heart, many thanks to the doctors and staff at Nanavati for their continued support and care. Please keep mom in your prayers till she makes a full recovery, my dear #InstaFam. Prayers work miracles.”
As soon as she shared the news on social media, netizens and members of the Hindi film industry started sending love to Shilpa and her mother. Shilpa’s sister Shamita Shetty wrote, ‘Our mommy is the strongest. Love you.” Raveena Tandon commented, “Wishing him a speedy recovery.” Dia Mirza added, “May he get well. Love and good energy coming his way.” One user wrote, “God bless him. Wish him a speedy recovery.”
On the work front, Shilpa was last seen in an action comedy ‘Nikamma’ alongside Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia. Shilpa is a part of Rohit Shetty’s first web series ‘Indian Police Force’ which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series will stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
