Shillong Arrows is a unique archery based lottery game played in the state of Meghalaya. Legitimate sports betting gives people a chance to try their luck and win money. The archery based betting game held in the capital Shillong is played from Monday to Saturday. Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association has 12 archery clubs. The archers from these clubs participate in the sport, held at the popular Polo Ground.
Unlike other illegal sports betting, Shillong Tier is legal and, therefore, governed by the rules framed under the Meghalaya Entertainment and Betting Tax Act.
In the game, the archers aim their arrows at the target, and the participants of the lottery game place their bets on the possible outcome of the match. Lottery tickets are available at state-authorized ticket booking counters located in 11 districts of Meghalaya. Open from Monday to Saturday, people can visit these counters between 10 am to 3:30 pm.
If the first round’s guess turns out to be true, the winner is awarded Rs. 80. 1 ticket purchased for each Rs. While the winners of the second round are given a prize of Rs. 60. 1 ticket for each Rs.
On Saturday, the first or preliminary round of the archery match will begin at 3:45 pm and the winning list will be made public by 4:15 pm. In this round 50 archers have to shoot 30-30 arrows on the target. At 4:45 pm, the second round of archery begins in which the archers shoot 20-20 arrows at the target.
