Shershaah: When and where to watch Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani war biopic

Siddharth Malhotra And Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah is all set to release on August 12 on Amazon Prime Video. Siddharth’s portrayal of Captain Vikram Batra in both his professional and personal life is sure to impress the audience. The biographical war drama directed by renowned South film director Vishnuvardhan narrates the life story of Captain Batra and how he led his soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War. He was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the highest wartime gallantry award.

Shershaah was scheduled to release in theaters last year, but the coronavirus-induced lockdown forced the closure of cinemas, delaying its release. It was pushed to release in early 2021 but it was later announced that the film would stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Malhotra will be seen in the double role of Captain Vikram Batra and his twin brother Vishal Batra in the film.

Kiara will be seen playing the role of Dimple Cheema, a strong pillar of support for Captain Vikram Batra. Directed by Vishnu Vardhan and jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kash Entertainment, Shershaah also stars actors Shiv Pandit, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjit, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar and Pawan Chopra.
