Sherlyn Chopra, who had earlier talked about the pornography case in which businessman Raj Kundra was arrested, filed a police complaint against him. Shilpa Shetty And her husband alleged that she was a victim of fraud and mental harassment by them. According to reports, the actress-model had filed a police complaint on October 14 and had also accused the businessman of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation.
“On October 14, actors Sherlyn Chopra filed a complaint against Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra for allegedly cheating and mental harassment. “I have filed an FIR against Raj Kundra for sexual harassment, cheating and criminal intimidation,” news agency ANI reported.
The same day, Raj and Shilpa’s legal team called a press conference, which Sherlyn was set to host and said that they would take legal action against the alleged statement she intended to make. Chopra had said that she would host a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday in which she would brief about the allegations leveled against Raj and Shilpa.
“Due process of law must be followed for the alleged statement that Miss Chopra wishes to make. Calling a press conference to do so reflects a strong intent to commit the offense of defamation. By Miss Chopra in the public domain Anything spoken against her shall be deemed to be in court. She shall be liable for civil and criminal proceedings before the competent courts,” the statement from the couple’s legal team read.
Since Kundra’s arrest, Sherlyn has made several comments, stating that Shilpa was aware of the pornographic material that Raj was allegedly creating and circulating through his apps. The businessman is currently out on bail.
