Shenu Agarwal joins the company from Escorts Kubota, where she was named as the President.
Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland on Thursday said it has appointed Sheenu Agarwal as MD and CEO of the company with immediate effect.
Agarwal will drive technology development, growth and future strategy for the company to be among the top ten commercial vehicle players globally, the Chennai-based commercial vehicle maker said in a statement.
He joins the company from Escorts Kubota, where he was named as the President.
“Agarwal has a proven track record as a leader of a business group and is an all-rounder who has worked in various capacities across multiple disciplines.
Ashok Leyland Executive Chairman Dheeraj Hinduja said, “Our focus on reliability, our ambition to achieve global scale and our relentless pursuit of enhancing stakeholder value at Ashok Leyland will all strengthen further.”
