Directed by Karthik Aryan and critic i say, and directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film had a reasonable day at the ticket windows. The film, which released on 17 February, has earned around Rs 6-6.5 crore on its first day in India. However, the film witnessed an expected jump in the collections on the second day. Due to the festival of Mahashivaratri, Shehzada saw an upward trend, and it continues to compete with other releases, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantummania and Pathan.

Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu hit ‘Ala Vaikunthapremulu’ starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. Packed with comedy, action and drama, this family entertainer also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. Interestingly, Shehzada clashed with Hollywood film ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’ and Dhanush’s Vaathi/SIR.

As per the Box Office Worldwide report, the early trends show a 20% growth in the collection of Shehzada, and it collected Rs 7 crore. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film earned Rs 6 crore on the first day and then collected Rs 7 crore on Saturday. In this way the collection of two days has become Rs 13 crore.

Pathan in his fourth week also scored good points on his 24th day, which was enough to give Shehzada a tough fight. The film was released before Mahashivaratri. This holiday did not do much in favor of the film. The makers introduced a ‘buy one get one free’ offer for Shehzada tickets. Though it attracted the audience, it didn’t do much for them. The numbers with such offers were not as expected by the makers.
