Shatrughan Sinha praised Team Blue after clinching T20 World Cup trophy amid hospitalization.

This afternoon, Shatrughan Sinha went on his X platform to post some pictures of himself enjoying the India vs South Africa T20 World Cup finals match, which India emerged victorious in, clinching the coveted trophy. The actor was hospitalised at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for a routine check-up.

In his post, the veteran actor was spotted with a group of friends along with his wife, Poonam Sinha. The location of the images remains ambiguous. He captioned the moment saying, “Away from the ‘controversy & confusion’ created by some of our good friends from the social media/Youtubers. The fact is enjoying with best of our family members, brothers & dear friends. Enjoying the most talked about International Cricket match between #SouthAfrica & #India. Also great to watch the ‘hero’ of not only our dear #AnushkaSharma but also the hero of the nation #ViratKohli. It was a treat watching great performances of #JaspritBumrah #HardikPandya #SuryaKumarYadav & of course everyone’s favorite the one, & perhaps the only one #RohitSharma.”

He continued, “Kudos & Cheers to our boys in blue for this magnificent win. Both stalwarts #ViratKohli & #RohitSharma taking a bold & beautiful decision at the right time of retiring from T20s on a High note & paving the way for the next generation is truly a fantastic encouragement indeed! It was a most thrilling, exciting & entertaining match & we must give full credit to Team South Africa also for their most committed performance. God Bless! Jai Hind!”

For the unversed, Shatrughan Sinha tripped in his dining room, as per Times Now, injuring his ribs. Reportedly, the incident happened on Monday, June 25, in his favourite spot at home where he relaxes. His daughter Sonakshi, recently acclaimed for her acting in Heeramandi and newly married, was nearby and swiftly offered help to prevent a more serious fall. The actor’s son, Luv Sinha, had earlier told indianexpress.com, “Dad had viral fever and weakness the last couple of days so we decided to admit him to the hospital.”

This comes days after Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal. After dating for over seven years, the duo got married in Mumbai last week.
