If you haven’t shared or seen the Shark Tank India meme, you’ve definitely been living under a rock. The show became a favorite of the meme industry. Be it Ashneer Grover’s ‘Yeh sab dogalpan hai (It’s all hypocrisy)’ or Aman Gupta’s ‘Hum sab sambhal lenge (We will handle everything)’, social media is flooded with Shark Tank India memes.
Recently, Vinita Singh, the CEO of Sugar Cosmetics and one of the favorite sharks, also featured herself in a meme, which presented her as Raju Rastogi’s mother (Amardeep Jha) from the 2009 film 3 Idiots. Taking the same meme forward, on Saturday, Vinita shared a funny reaction through a video on her official Twitter account.
The video begins with an employee scrolling through social media to come across Vinita Singh’s meme. Later he goes to Singh’s cabin for some budget approval. The next scene turns back and after a while Vinita is sitting in a sari. She will surely remind you of Raju Rastogi’s mother from 3 Idiots as she complains about the rise in prices of ‘Bhindi’ and ‘Paneer’. The video ends with Vinneta saying ‘All is well’.
The video has left netizens in splits. It is now going viral on social media, with fans calling it the ‘funniest thing on the internet’. One tweet read, “This is how you handle the troll army and bullies on social media, so playful and creative.” Another social media user wrote, “Kya boss lady hai man! Correct answer to all memes.” One of the fans also requested Aman Gupta to appoint Vinneta as the marketing head of the bot. “Excellent, @Boat should appoint you as a new Marketing Director along with @amangupta0303,” he wrote.
Talking about Shark Tank India, the show had a simple concept – budding entrepreneurs present their business ideas to ‘Sharks’ (all of whom are already India’s leading entrepreneurs) to gain investment. The show was judged by Ashneer Grover, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vinita Singh, Ghazal Alagh and Piyush Bansal. The last episode of the show aired on 4 February.
