Last season, Bigg Boss made headlines not only for its tasks and fights but also for its love stories. The season saw two romantic relationships – Karan Kundra-Tejashwi Prakash and Shamita Shetty-Rakesh Bapat. While Tejran developed inside the Bigg Boss 15 house, Bigg Boss OTT saw Shaara’s romantic moments. Even though social media has been flooded with love-filled pictures and videos of Shamita and Rakesh, fans were left shocked and disappointed after the news of Shamita and Rakesh’s break-up surfaced today.
However, soon after, Shamita Shetty took to social media and termed all such break-up reports as ‘rumours’. He also urged people not to believe any such report and said that there is no truth in it. “We request you not to believe in any kind of rumours related to our relationship. There is no truth in it. Love and light to all,” she wrote.
For those unaware, Pinkvilla had earlier claimed that Shamita Shetty and Rakeysh Bapat have parted ways. The entertainment portal quoted a source who claims, “Things didn’t work out between them. They were quarreling over many things and hence, they decided to part ways.”
Shamita Shetty and Rakeysh Bapat’s relationship is being discussed for a long time. The two celebrated Shamita’s birthday together earlier this year, with Rakesh also going for a holiday in Alibaug with Shamita and her family. Last month, both the actors were also seen outside a jewelery shop in Mumbai, leading fans to speculate whether they were planning to get engaged.
Earlier, Shamita Shetty also spoke about her wedding plans and told ETimes that she wants to settle down and have kids. “I definitely missed out on having a partner. I’m glad I have one now. Let’s see where it goes but yes I’d like to settle down, work and have my kids too. There’s a lot that I I want to do it.” Even in the Bigg Boss 15 house, Shamita had revealed that she was planning to get married this year, but added that she has no idea about the man with whom she is going to tie the knot.
