A very shameful case has come to light in a village in Dumka district of Jharkhand. Here a woman and a man were stripped naked on the charge of illicit relations and then roamed in the same condition throughout the village. Police said on Wednesday that six people have been arrested in this case.
Superintendent of Police Amber Lakra said that the incident took place on Monday night in Mayurnacha village under Maffasil police station. The woman is a resident of Mayurnacha and the man is a resident of the neighboring village Kulhadiya. Both are daily wage laborers and used to work together.
He further said that both the victims had lodged a complaint with the police on Tuesday against 40-50 people regarding the incident. Out of these, he had also nominated four people. Police said that the matter is being investigated and no culprit will be spared.
