Shama Sikander recently married her longtime boyfriend James Milliron. The couple got married in Goa. A few days later, the television actress has opened up about her marriage and talked about love in a recent interview.
During her conversation with India Today, Shama Sikander revealed how she never thought of marriage and said that it was something that was not on her mind initially. “I never thought of marriage. I was excited about love. I was about love and I am still about love, but marriage was something that was not in my (mind). It is because I have seen what happens in marriage and the condition I come from. And because I have seen many things go wrong in a marriage. (That’s why) I always put more emphasis on love, ”said the actress.
“But if you mean what you are doing, then that piece of paper has meaning. Otherwise, it is just a piece of paper,” Shama said.
Shama Sikander tied the knot with James Milliron on March 14. On the same day, the actress shared fanciful pictures from her wedding celebrations on social media. In the pictures, the couple looked stunning in their white outfit and looked straight into the camera. “Whole.. @jamesmilliron,” the caption read.
Earlier this year, Shama spoke about her relationship with James in another interview and revealed how their love story began. “Our relationship has been very smooth from the beginning. Joining us has been easy. We have this, my heart is getting low, the earth and the sky have not felt it. It was very quiet, safe, reassuring and easy. It feels like we were made to be together and we were made for each other,” she told Hindustan Times.
Shama Sikander has worked in several television shows including Baal Veer, Shash… Koi Hai and Yeh Meri Life Hai among others. Her fiance James Milliron is an American businessman. They are together for years now.
