The day I married my perfect match @farhanfshaikh…we had exactly the kind of wedding we expected… in the living room of our house with my parents and siblings, a few aunts and Cousin!”

Shalmali is known for singing some of the most popular tracks in recent times, including “Parshaan” from “Ishaqzaade”, “Aga Bai” from “Aiyya” and “Daaru Desi” from “Cocktail”. The singer said that the couple got married according to both Hindu and Muslim customs.

My incredible father conducted Lajja Homa and Saptapadi with English translation. Our marriage was the only one that could have been fulfilled. I still can’t figure out how healthy it was!” posted Shalmali.

Love you both,” wrote composer-singer Salim Merchant. Singer Armaan Malik commented, “Congratulations to you both.” Neha Kakkar said, ‘How beautiful! Many, many congratulations to you!”
