Actress Shalini Ajith Kumar has shared a heartwarming photo with her son Aadvik on Instagram. In the picture, Shalini is seen resting on her bed while Aadvik kisses her on the forehead. Shalini shared the photo with lots of heart emojis as she held her son close. This adorable mother-son moment has gone viral, with fans sending love and well-wishes for Shalini’s good health. Shalini Ajith Kumar recently underwent a minor surgery at a hospital in Chennai. Her husband and Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, who was working on his upcoming film Vivek Muyarchi in Azerbaijan, came back to the city to take care of her. On July 3, Shalini shared a photo from her hospital bed with Ajith Kumar. In the picture, Shalini is wearing a patient’s gown while Ajith sits by her side. The couple held hands and smiled for the photo. Alongside the picture, Shalini wrote in the caption, “Love you forever.”

According to a report by India Today, a source revealed that Shalini is now doing fine. “It’s too personal, so let’s not get into the details. But she underwent surgery and is doing fine now. There’s a possibility that an official statement might be shared in a day or two,” the source added.

Speaking of Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Vidaa Muyarchi, the shooting has been put on hold until the actor’s returns. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film is about a married couple whose trip takes a dark turn when the wife goes missing. The husband desperately searches for her while an unknown villain creates obstacles along the way. The film also features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sanjay Dutt and Trisha Krishnan in pivotal roles.

Shalini Ajith Kumar began her career as a child artist in 1983 in Malayalam film Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku and acted in several films directed by Fazil. She is best known for her roles in Alaipayuthey (2000), Aniyathi Pravu (1997) and Amarkalam (1999).
