New Delhi: The team of Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Jersey’ is all happy and excited. The reason is the trailer of this much awaited film releasing tomorrow on 23rd November at 5:30 PM. Shahid Kapoor announced the release date of the trailer on his Instagram handle and shared his happiness with his fans.
The actor, who plays the lead role in the film as a cricketer, said that the makers were eagerly waiting for the moment. Sharing the poster of the film, the ‘Jab We Met’ actor wrote, “It’s time! We have waited 2 years to share this sentiment with you. This story is special. This team is special. This character is special. And the fact that we get a chance to share this with all of you on the big screen, it’s special. I can’t express my gratitude. Played it. Here it is.

Jersey is a sports drama film written and directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. The film is a remake of the director’s 2019 hit Telugu film of the same title. It is produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi.
The film stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead role. Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur will also be seen playing an important role in the film. ‘Jersey’ is set to hit the theaters on December 31, 2021. Shahid Kapoor is all set to win over the audience with his performance in the film, which marks his next big theatrical release after the blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’.
