Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput attended Sanah Kapoor’s pre-wedding celebrations for the first time. Sana, the daughter of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, is Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister. Sana is going to tie the knot with Mayank Pahwa, son of Seema Pahwa and Manoj Pahwa, on Wednesday. Pankaj and Manoj have worked together on a few projects including Office Office. In pictures shared by Sana’s first cousin Vivaan Shah, Shahid, Mira, Pankaj, Supriya and Sanah pose for a family picture with Seema, Manoj and Mayank.
As the family gathered, Pankaj was seen wearing a white kurta-pyjama and a black jacket, while Supriya was seen wearing a printed kurta-pyjama. Shahid opted for a silver sherwani and Mira chose a floral printed outfit. The bride-to-be was seen dressed in bright yellow and red while her groom wore a dark green kurta and a pair of blue pants. Vivaan shared the picture with the caption, “@sanahkapur15 @mayankpahwa_13 Pictures from the chuda ceremony.”
Later, Shahid took to his Instagram handle to share a picture showing his OOTD. He wrote, “Where’s the party!”
Another picture from the ceremony showed sisters Supriya and Ratna Pathak Shah posing with their respective husbands Pankaj and Naseeruddin Shah along with family members. Vivaan’s brother Imad Shah also made his way to the wedding and was soon seen posing with the married couple. On Tuesday night, Vivaan also shared videos of Mehndi Ceremony. The couple was welcomed with dhol-tasha and the family was seen dancing together.
Sharing a video as a post, Vivaan wrote, “Congratulations @sanahkapur15 @mayankpahwa_13 love you ️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Baa would have been so proud Sanuu.” According to media reports, Sana and Mayank have known each other for a long time and got engaged sometime back. Sana made her debut in 2015 with Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar, starring Pankaj Kapur, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. were also in lead roles.
