After Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3 co-star Erica Fernandes, Shaheer Sheikh has broken his silence on reports of the show going off-air. This TV show to be aired on Sony TV will end by the end of this month.
The third season of the show began on July 12 and will go off-air in three months. It was always considered a limited show. However, in terms of TRP, this season failed to impress the audience like the previous two seasons. Now, Shaheer has opened up about this in an interview with ETimes.
He said, “I gave my best in the show and enjoyed playing this character. I agree that the third season did not live up to the expectations of the people, but we all tried to make it work and gave it our best. Story Changed too and everyone in the team gave their 100 percent. Now that the show is coming to an end, I feel sad, but at the same time, I’m glad it went on for three seasons and it’s definitely a great feeling. It is,” said Shaheer.
Shaheer is now planning to spend quality time with his family. “I have been working for several months and now want to spend time with family,” he said.
Meanwhile, in a lengthy Instagram post, Erica spoke about the reason behind leaving Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3. He wrote, “A character for Sonakshi that was very dear to you and me, a character who was an inspiration to many, a character who was so strong, smart, balanced… Sonakshi that we once loved in season 1 and 2. What we were expecting to see this season as well but unfortunately we had to see the exact opposite.”
Further, she asked her fans to remember her Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi character Sonakshi from the first two seasons and not how she was portrayed in the current season, “I hope you like Sonakshi from the first 2 seasons. Will always remember, no matter how weak and confused he was made to watch this season, where everything else was set aside in the first 2 seasons. At least he had a job and an office to go to and not where he had to sit at home, just nothing to do.”
