Lucknow: Union Home Minister and BJP Chief Strategist Amit Shah He is set to go on a state-wide tour of Uttar Pradesh starting Friday to take forward the party’s campaign ahead of the assembly elections and strengthen the organizational machinery at the grassroots level.
Though Shah’s schedule is yet to be formally announced, top BJP sources said he is expected to Know Public meetings at around 21 different places. Each public meeting will be attended by party workers and supporters from the surrounding seven assembly constituencies. In this way, he will touch about 140 assembly seats.
