Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as the highest taxpayer in Bollywood. The superstar had a memorable 2023, delivering three big films — Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. The two of the three films were massive hits. A new report has revealed that SRK reportedly paid Rs 92 Cr as taxes. The actor has beaten fellow celebrities Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
A report by Fortune India stated that while Shah Rukh paid taxes worth Rs 92 Cr, Tamil actor Vijay took the second spot. The actor, who is forraying into his political career, paid taxes worth Rs 80 Cr, making him the only Tamil star on the list. The top five Indian celebrities include Salman, who paid taxes worth Rs 75 Cr, Amitabh Bachchan, who paid Rs 71 Cr, and Virat Kohli, who paid Rs 66 Cr in taxes.
The others on the list include Shahid Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, Kiara Advani and Katrina Kaif.

Shah Rukh had three big releases last year but will not visit the box office this year. He announced his new film, titled King, earlier this year. The film is slated to go on the floors soon. SRK will be seen sharing the screen with Suhana Khan in the film. The movie will be directed by filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan.
