Defending their lowest total against Bangladesh, India relied on an impressive bowling performance from Shafali Verma, where she took three wickets and conceded just one run in the crucial last over. Apart from this, Deepti Sharma also played an important role and took three wickets for India.
Bangladesh’s Sultana Khatoon (3-21) and Fahima Khatoon (2-16) emerged as the stars for their team, destroying India’s batting line-up with their superb bowling.
