Hyderabad: Gear up for chilly nights as the bitter cold is yet to pack bags from the state capital. The Meteorological Department has predicted severe cold till January 11.

Orange code warnings have been issued for Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Adilabad, Jaishankar Bhoopalpally, Mulugu, Jagtial, Kamareddy, Mancherial, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar and Warangal.

The minimum temperature in the city on Saturday was 18.7 degrees Celsius. Bitter cold conditions continued in some districts as the mercury continued to slide.
