Years before she achieved the title, Vijay’s parents already knew that their daughter was inclined towards opera. Being a child, Victory once asked his mother to show him who could sing the most notes.
According to Victory, she was “an early talker and started singing at the age of two.” She claimed that she started memorizing “complete CDs with good pitch” when she was just two and three years old. “I was always singing,” she said.
In addition to performing at the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Lights and Legends show, which helped him clinch the title, Victory has a long list of accomplishments. She is able to reach three octaves and can sing in seven different languages.
