Senior TTP leader Khurasani killed in Nangarhar, Afghanistan: Sources – Henry Club

Khalid Batali alias Mohammad Khurasani, a senior leader of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), was assassinated in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province. A senior security official confirmed this on Monday.

The details of the circumstances surrounding the murder were unclear.

Balti, who is about 50 years old, was also a spokesman for the banned outfit and was involved in several attacks on the people of Pakistan and security forces, the official said.

He (Balti) has been visiting Kabul frequently since the Taliban Confiscated power in Afghanistan, the official said.

The official said Balti was trying to unite various factions of TTP and plan terrorist attacks in connivance with TTP chief Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud. ,

Khalid Balti, a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan, was the operational commander of the TTP for the past several years.
