In Punjab, Congress has stopped the announcement of candidates in 8 seats after seeing the rebellion. Due to which the tickets of four sitting MLAs have also got stuck. The most interesting thing is that till now Congress has not fielded candidates from Patiala Urban and Jalalabad. From here, former CM Captain Amarinder Singh and Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal are the candidates.

Waiting for candidates on these seats, one MLA filed an independent nomination

Congress has not announced tickets for Patiala Urban, Attari, Jalalabad, Barnala, Bhadaur, Ludhiana South, Khem Karan and Nawanshahr. Among them, the tickets of Tarsem DC from Attari, Ramanjit Sikki from Khadoor Sahib, Raminder Awla from Jalalabad and Sukhpal Bhullar from Khemkaran are stuck. There is also discussion that Raminder Awla does not want to fight from Jalalabad.

At the same time, Congress veteran Lal Singh has staked claim in Patiala. Seeing that MP from Khadoor Sahib, Jasbir Dimpa wants his son to contest, MLA Sikki has also filed his nomination as an independent candidate.

Rebellion in 15 seats in Punjab, churning on changing candidate

There is a demand to change the candidates in Adampur and Shri Hargobindpur. In Sultanpur Lodhi, minister Rana Gurjit has fielded his son Rana Indra Pratap against the Congress candidate.
