SIT of Punjab Police led by IG SPS Parmar had gone to Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab Police, probing the Faridkot sacrilege case, is angry with the attitude of the Dera managers. The SIT had gone to Sirsa, the headquarters of Dera Sacha Sauda, on Monday. There he could not find Dera’s chairperson Vipassana Insan and senior vice chairman Dr. PR Nain.
In view of this, now the Senior Vice Chairman of the Dera, Dr. PR Nain has reached the shelter of the High Court. Nain filed a petition asking the SIT to issue notice to him before any kind of interrogation. On Monday, the SIT had directly reached Dera Sacha Sauda.
Dera searched in search of fugitive lovers, documents confiscated
Although in this case, the SIT searched the dera for about an hour in search of 3 absconding dera lovers, but no hand came. The team has definitely collected some documents from there. Now if Vipassana and Nain do not appear themselves, then the SIT will increase the strictness on them in a legal way. In this, steps can also be taken to arrest him, for which preparations are also being started.
SIT has to interrogate these two
If not fit then how to get out?
SIT had sent summons to Vipassana and Nain 3 times before but they did not come. After this the SIT itself reached Dera Sirsa. But both did not meet there. The team included IG SPS Parmar, SSP Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, DSP Lakhbir Singh and Inspector Dalbir Singh. SIT Chief IG SPS Parmar raised the question that if he is not medically fit then how is he out of the camp? The SIT believes that this is just a pretext. Otherwise he would have been on the bed in the tent itself. IG Parmar said that both will present themselves in the next 4-5 days. If not, then further action will be taken after discussing with the legal team.
Police are looking for these three
So far five Dera lovers Randeep Singh alias Neela, Ranjit Singh, Baljit Singh, Nishan Singh and Narinder Kumar Sharma have been arrested in the sacrilege case, who are now out on bail. Lookout notices were issued against three members of Dera Sacha Sauda National Committee, Sandeep Bareta, Pradeep Kler and Harsh Dhuri. Till date no trace of these three has been found. The court has declared them as fugitives. Lookout notices have been issued against them. The SIT is looking at all three by linking them with the sacrilege case in 2015.
Why questioning Dera managers is important
A few days ago, the SIT went to Rohtak’s Sunaria jail and questioned Baba Ram Rahim. In which Ram Rahim said that his work was only to do satsang. From the income of the dera to the property, only the dera managers will know about everything. The SIT wants to make it clear that there is no role of Dera managers in the sacrilege case in Faridkot. However, all the people of the dera, including Ram Rahim, have denied being involved in the sacrilege incident.
