Following the order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Punjab Police has increased the security in the interim. The murder of Sidhu Musewala is being told as a revenge for the murder of Youth Akali leader Vicky Middukheda. Lawrence Bishnoi’s partner Goldie Brar had called this murder a revenge for Vicky’s murder on social media.

Ajay Pal Singh Middukheda, resident of Mohali, Vicky’s elder brother, has said that his life is in danger. He had filed a petition in the High Court seeking to increase his police security. On August 7 last year, this case was registered in Mataur police station under sections of murder and Arms Act. He has said that he is getting threats from his brother’s killers.

Issued notice and sought reply

During the hearing, High Court Justice Karmjit Singh issued a notice to the Punjab Government and others and sought answers in the matter. The counsel appearing for the government sought time to file the reply after obtaining necessary directions in the matter. The High Court has issued orders to the police, adjourning the hearing of the case till August 18.

The High Court has ordered the police to consider the petitioner’s demand letter in the meantime and review the danger they face. If it is really necessary to give protection in the matter, then take action on it under the law. The action taken report should be presented at the next hearing of the case. Now according to the information, the police has increased the security of Ajay Pal.

According to the information, after the orders of the High Court, Punjab Police has increased the security of Ajay Pal Singh Middukheda in the interim. Ajay Pal has filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court stating that his life is in danger. Senior advocate Bipan Ghai is appearing on his behalf.

The police did not give security despite the demand

Ajay Pal had demanded that the Punjab government and the police should be ordered to provide them proper security. He had earlier also given a letter demanding adequate security from the police. However, no action was taken on it. After this another demand letter was given, but no action was taken on that too. So they could not get proper protection.
