Section on Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line to Remain Closed on March 8 for Maintenance Work

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday said that a portion of Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line will remain closed till the end of operating hours on March 8 for scheduled maintenance work.

Officials had earlier said that Delhi Metro services would resume on all lines from 2.30 pm on Wednesday.

Due to Holi on March 8 (Wednesday) all Metro services will resume from 2:30 PM, with a section between Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat on Yellow Line (Line-2 i.e. Samaypur Badli to HUDA City Centre) to continue. It will remain closed till the end of operating hours on March 8 for scheduled maintenance work, the DMRC said in a statement.

Passengers using the Yellow Line from HUDA City Center will be able to travel only till the Central Secretariat Metro Station. Similarly, passengers traveling from Samaypur Badli, the other end of the Yellow Line, will be able to go only till Rajiv Chowk Metro Station.

DMRC advised commuters to use alternate routes for onward journey.
