Schools from class 1 to 8 will reopen in Uttar Pradesh – World Latest News Headlines

Uttar Pradesh government has decided to reopen schools for classes 1 to 8 today COVID-19 Cases Offline classes for classes 6 to 8 will open from August 23 while schools for classes 1 to 5 will reopen from September 1.

Some schools in Uttar Pradesh reopened on Monday Class 9 to 12 students with strict covid protocol and limited attendance. Inter classes were resumed with 50% attendance. Other schools said they were getting ready to resume physical classes for students and would reopen soon.

The state government had earlier said, “From August 23, after Raksha Bandhan, resumption of teaching activity for classes 6 to 8 may be considered, while for classes 1 to 5 from September 1. May go.”

With this, offline classes have resumed for all students (except primary classes) in the state. The Uttar Pradesh government will soon issue the necessary SOPs to conduct offline classes for class 1 to 8 students.

States like Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Lakshadweep, Puducherry, Nagaland, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh opened schools in the first week of August. While some states reopened schools for higher classes in late July.
