SBI Ladies Club organizes medical camp in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: State Bank of India Ladies Club, Hyderabad organized Medical Camp and Audiometry Testing Camp for People with Hearing Impaired Network (PHIN) at Moosarambagh. Medical kits along with other essential items like stationery, clothes, hygiene products, Covid consumables and food were distributed to the inmates of PHIN.

PHIN is a voluntary and non-profit organization running residential schools for deaf children in Hyderabad. The NGO was established in 2007 and provides shelter, food, medical aid and education for 100 children who suffer from hearing impairment. With the support of both governmental and non-governmental agencies, PHIN has been able to highlight the issues of the deaf at a national and international level.

Speaking on the occasion, Nupur Jhingran, wife of Amit Jhingran, CGM, SBI Hyderabad Circle reiterated the Bank’s commitment to reach out to the deserving sections of the society. A press release said the bank will evaluate the feasibility of providing computer labs and improve general sanitation facilities in the school.
