Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev is in news recently for her alleged affair with cricketer Ruturaj Gaikwad. Speculations about the two being in a relationship started surfacing after both Sayali and Ruturaj were seen commenting on each other’s social media posts. Despite repeatedly dismissing the ongoing rumours, the two found no respite from several social media users. In a recent interview with Mumbai Tak, Sayali revealed that the constant talking about her link-up with Ruturaj took a toll on their friendship.
Elaborating on the subject, Sayali expressed her displeasure over the constant trolling and comments by the public, which resulted in her friendship with Ruturaj turning sour. She revealed, “We were friends. We were good friends. But, because of all this trolling, we are not even friends anymore. Trolling has hurt us.”
He narrated an earlier incident. Sayali shared that once she posted a picture of herself on social media wearing a yellow outfit for the promotion of her film Urmi. Social media users left no stone unturned to compare the color of his dress with the kit of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Needless to say, Ruturaj is one of the most promising batsmen in CSK.
Sayali further said that she was very impressed by the comments that came on her post. She said that earlier she used to wear yellow without any hesitation. Ever since the IPL started on March 31, many people have not stopped associating Ruturaj’s name with them. “I was scared. Now I think I should stop wearing yellow clothes.”
When asked if Sayali and Ruturaj ever talked to each other about trolling, they replied that they had not. They believe that the trolling will stop only when either of them gets married to someone else.
Sayali was last seen in the film Gosht Ek Paithanichi, which went on to become a super hit in the theatres.
Ruturaj is enjoying exceptional form and is a good contender for the Orange Cap this season of IPL. In his four matches so far, he has scored 197 runs including two half-centuries.
