On Friday evening, Vanshika posted her first reel with Anupam on Instagram, in which the two tried to match steps to the song Hundred Miles.
Actor Satish Kaushik passed away suddenly on March 9, a day after Holi. His sudden death sent shock waves throughout the film industry, especially since he had posted pictures of himself on social media celebrating Holi with great enthusiasm a day earlier. At a time when his daughter Vanshika Kaushik is dealing with the loss of her father at a young age, she has the support of Anupam Kher and Satish’s other close friends to look after her and her mother Shashi Kaushik.
On Friday evening, Vanshika posted her first reel with Anupam on Instagram, in which the two tried to match steps to the song Hundred Miles. The little girl noticed that her father, Satish, was a better dancer than her “uncle” Anupam! She captioned the video, “My first reel with the one and only #anupam uncle, he really needs to rehearse a bit more as his papa was a better dancer, but thanks for trying Anupam uncle, love you ”
The reel is going viral with celebs and fans commenting and expressing their love for the uncle-niece duo. Hrithik Roshan also commented, “Haha sweet,” he wrote.

Everyone was in tears when Vanshika read a letter written by her father on his 67th birth anniversary. During the event, Kher assured Vanshika that she need not feel alone and promised to take care of her like his own daughter. When asked about her father’s memories, Vanshika fondly recounts how her father used to get upset by proposing a lunch date at a posh hotel and would make her laugh with his silly dance moves. She also told how he used to help her with her maths homework when her mother was not around.
During the event, Kher and Anil Kapoor got emotional remembering their dear friend. Neena Gupta and Shabana Azmi also remembered the actor through their anecdotes. Other celebrities who attended the event included Subhash Ghai and Rani Mukherjee.
