Sasikala arrives at Jayalalithaa’s memorial, a sign of return to active politics Chennai News – Times of India

Chennai: VK SasikalaA close aide of the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa, visited the latter’s memorial at Chennai’s Marina on Saturday and paid floral tributes.
Carrying the AIADMK flag on her vehicle, Sasikala entered the memorial amid chants of “AIADMK general secretary Tyaag Thai Chinnamma” by her supporters.
He wiped his tears while paying tribute to Jayalalithaa.
Sasikala had visited the memorial on February 14, 2017, before going to Bengaluru jail to serve her sentence in a disproportionate assets case.
Ever since she was released from Bengaluru jail last February, Sasikala was looking forward to visiting the memorial.
