Sarjun’s Tamil film ‘Burka’ nominated in three categories at NY Indian Film Festival

Director Sarjun KM’s upcoming film, ‘Burka’, starring Kalairasan and Mirna in lead roles, has been nominated in three categories at the prestigious New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF).

The film, which is produced by SKLS Galaxy Mall Productions and Madras Stories, is one of the official selections for Best Film.

The lead pair of Kalairasan and Mirna has also been nominated in the Best Actor and Best Actress categories.

The shooting of the film was completed in November 2021 and it has been making rounds at various film festivals since December 2021.

‘Burka’ will have its world premiere at the 2022 edition of NYIFF later this month.

The cinematography of the film is done by G Balamurugan and music is given by R Shivatmikha.

The editing of the film is done by B Praveen Bhaskar and the styling and costumes have been done by Meenakshi Sreedharan.
