Talented Tamil actor Dhanush turned 38 on Wednesday. The actor, who will next be seen in Atrangi Re, received a lovely message from his co-star Sara Ali Khan. The actress took to Instagram stories to share a picture with the actor from the sets. She also listed the things she wants on her birthday.
Sara wrote a lovely message, which read, “Happy birthday @dhanushkraja. Wishing you all love, positivity, peace, laughter, paneer soda, books, Carnatic music (sic).”
Atrangi Re is helmed by director Aanand L Rai, starring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush along with Sara in lead roles. This is the first time that the audience will be seeing Sara and Dhanush together in a film, while Dhanush has previously worked with the filmmaker in Raanjhanaa.
Meanwhile, on the actor’s birthday, the first look poster of his upcoming film Maran was released. Filmmaker Karthik Naren wrote on Twitter, “His courage is his weapon. Proudly presenting the first look of Maran. Happy birthday Dhanush sir.”
Maran is written by Sharfu and Suhas, who are known for scripting some of the most influential films in the South such as Virus and Varthaan. The film is being produced by Satya Jyoti Films Production House. The music of the film is given by GV Prakash Kumar. Maran will also feature actors Malavika Mohanan and Smriti Venkat in pivotal roles. Dhanush was last seen in critically acclaimed films including Asuran, Jagme Thandiran and Karnan.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan has reportedly also signed Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama, which stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. The film is going to go on floors soon.
