B-Town’s coolest father-daughter duo, Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan share an amazing bond and are hilarious together on screen. It is always a treat to see the stylish couple having fun and enjoying every moment spent together. In a recent interview with Elle, Sara opened up about how her love of reading and history helped her bond with her ‘Abba’. She also recalled how they both enjoyed visiting every museum in Rome and Florence during their holidays.
“Growing up, I realized that my father was very interested in history. We went to Rome and Florence together and visited every museum in the city. We’re both always curious and really that’s all it takes – you need to know,” Sarah recalled.
She also revealed how they always recommend books to each other and keep themselves updated with what they are reading at the moment. The Atrangi Re star also recalled how on one occasion his father recommended him to Anna Karenina, influenced by Homer’s love for classics such as The Odyssey and Dante’s Inferno. “We always tell each other what we’re reading. He recommended me Anna Karenina, but when I was studying in Colombia, I read a lot of classics, from The Odyssey by Homer to Dante’s Inferno. I told my father about him and he was so impressed with the idea that he got it all and started studying.”
On the work front, Sara who was last seen with Dhanush and Akshay Kumar Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re has quite an interesting lineup of films.
The actress has a number of collaborations for the first time that she is working on this year. For starters, she will be seen with Vicky Kaushal In Laxman Utekar’s yet-to-be-titled project. Apart from this, she is also working on Pawan Kriplani’s upcoming directorial venture Gaslight with Vikrant Massey. The shooting of the film began in March earlier this year and Sara will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar.
On the other hand Saif Ali Khan will be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in Vikram Vedha.
