Dibrugarh: The Union minister of ports, shipping & waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowalattended the 91st annual convention of Shrimanta Sankardeva Sangha at Naharkatia in Dibrugarh district on Saturday. The union minister addressed the huge gathering at the Bagmibar Koka Nilamani Phukan Samnway field.
Sonowal said, “Gurujona (Shrimanta Sankardeva) laid the foundation for the socio cultural foundation of our society. We must instrument the invaluable teachings, creations and philosophy of Gurujona and use Bhakti, peace and unity to build our nation into a stronger one.” TNN
