Sanjeev Kapoor to be the CEO of Jet Airways 2.0 – Times of India

new Delhi: Sanjiv Kapoorwho have held senior management positions in SpiceJet and Vistarahas been appointed CEO Jet Airways 2.0. Presently President of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Kapoor Will assume his new role from April 4, 2022.
Murari Lal Jalan, key partner of the Jalan-Colorrock consortium and proposed non-executive chairman of Jet Airways, said: “I am delighted to have Sanjeev on our team… I am sure he will be able to lead and build Jet Airways. Prior to joining the Oberoi Group last year, Kapoor was the chief strategy and commercial officer at Vistara and the COO of SpiceJet.
A Wharton MBA, Kapoor began his airline career with Northwest Airlines (now merged with Delta) in the US in 1997, where he worked in finance and corporate planning.
In 2004, Sanjeev joined Bain & Company (in Singapore, and later in Dallas and London) as a leader in its airline practice. His previous employers include Temasek Holdings, Singapore and Oracle Corporation.
