Sanjay Dutt appointed as the brand ambassador of Zanzibar, expresses gratitude

Actor Sanjay Dutt has been appointed as the tourism ambassador of Zanzibar – an Indian Ocean island off the Swahili coast. Dutt also met President Dr. Hussein Ali Mwini during his visit to the island region, and expressed his happiness at being appointed as the new tourism ambassador of Zanzibar.

“President Dr. Hussein Ali Mwini, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I have the opportunity to be an ambassador, with the support of your government, to contribute to Zanzibar’s investment, health and education sector, and to promote tourism for this beautiful island city, The 62-year-old said on Twitter with photos with Zanzibar’s president and members of his government.

And, fans were quick to share their excitement in the below photo. When asked about Dutt’s health, a user wrote, ‘Sir, how are you feeling now? Wish you all the best. Looking forward to seeing you back in movies. Take care.” Others extended their best wishes to the actor.

Later, Sanjay Dutt met Tanzania’s Prime Minister Kasim Majliwa and expressed his gratitude through a post on Twitter. Along with pictures from the meeting, the actor wrote, “It was indeed an honor to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Kasim Majliva. I am delighted to be able to support the Tanzanian film industry and invest in the tourism of your beautiful country. Hope to come again soon.”

Sanjay Dutt has many projects in the pipeline. He will be seen playing the role of Adheera in KGF: Chapter 2. Yash, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Malavika Avinash are also part of the project. Next is Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor. He is also a part of Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar starter Prithviraj.
